TOFU HAMBURGER WITH FRESH TOMATO SAUCE

INGREDIENTS

Tofu - 1⁄2 pc

Minced Pork - 100 g

Onions, diced - 20 g

Tomato - 1⁄2 pc

Oil - 1 tsp

Mixed Green Leaves

Mix A

Salt - 1⁄2 tsp

Pepper - a pinch

Egg, beaten - 1⁄4 pc

Mix B

Onions, diced - 1 tsp

Olive Oil - 1 tsp

Salt & Pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Dry the tofu with kitchen paper towel. Diced the onions.

  2. Place the minced pork in a bowl, add in Mix A, mix until all ingredients stick together. Add in tofu and diced onions to the meat paste. Divide the paste into 2 batches, and mould them into hamburger shape.

  3. Heat up the oil in the frying pan, placed the tofu hamburgers in the pan, fry each side for 2 min over moderate heat. Turn down to low heat, cover the pan with a lid, and fry each side for 4 min.

  4. Remove the seeds from the tomatoes, and dice it into small pieces. Place the diced tomatoes in a bowl, and add in Mix B, mix well.

  5. Place the tofu hamburger and mixed green leaves on a plate, pour the tomato sauce on the hamburger. Ready to serve.
