Table-settings and basic manners can enhance both the aesthetic value of food and family interaction during mealtime.
Having a nice table setting affects your enjoyment of the meal which can even affect how well you digest your food. After putting in the effort in planning the menu and all the healthy cooking, don’t spoil the meal by having a disorganized presentation or worse, eating in the living room, or in front of your laptop or scrolling your mobile while having your meal. Sitting down to eat a meal calmly is very important for digestion. By taking the time to set a nice table before the meal begins, you can ensure that everyone is able to sit down and enjoy their meal in peace.

The way you set your table is important, because it influences three things:
It indicates the tone/feeling that people have about being together
It lets people know that you think they are important enough to put in extra effort for them
It influences the appearance of the food served
To set the table, you need a “place setting” for each person. A place setting is all the items each person needs for eating. This includes the following items:
